- Josh Prowse. At last count, I am 1 of 4 in Canada (the eldest, I believe), but not the one who owes Telus money for unpaid phone bills. That’s one of the other Josh Prowses.

- Why did you build this site?
- A.
- In 1998, I quit my job to write and travel. The site started out on a free webhost as a way for me to chronicle my adventures, post some photos, and get feedback on some other things I’d written earlier. I later registered this domain name and purchased full-featured webspace, so I could try out coolie things like database integration, which makes it a tax write-off. Thus it has become the ravenous, time-devouring White Elephant it is today.

- Because you’re my mother. Hi Mom! Or maybe you’re that rare individual who will invest precious time reading new voices, in the hopes of finding a nugget of humour, wisdom, insight or beauty in the words of others…. Hi Mom!
