Today I decided to see just how tall I actually am. I have been saying six-foot-two since grade 11, and in university the varsity volleyball team program listed me at six-foot-three.

During the “pressure serving” drill I use to help them improve their serving consistency, their answers to questions were no better than those of last year’s team. My favourite exchange was to the question, “What’s the capital of Quebec?”
Ankle Surgery Update

My ankle operation went well. From what I could piece together through my anaesthetic fog, my doctor managed to remove my bone chip and clean the ankle joint with the scope, so no major cutting or sawing was required.
